The Tower of Chaos

Over the holidays, I got a gift from my grandma and my grandpa. It was HUGE! I wanted to see what it was really badly so I opened it first. I was surprised to find a huge marble work labeled The Chaos (kayos) Tower. I wanted to start building it right away, so after I opened all the other presents I got, I started building it. All I had time for was the framework. Over the next couple of days, I got farther and farther into the tower.

Finally, I finished it! I was really happy!

Here is a video I put together with my dad of The Chaos Tower.

Have you ever put together a marble run or seen one?

What was your favorite Christmas present?

  1. Dear Royce,

What an amazing tower and an amazing video! I loved the music you chose. It was very appropriate. It created a lot of drama and anticipation that something BIG was going to happen. That was a huge tower. How long did it take you to put it together? Did you build it all by yourself?

    Nice job,

    1. @ Victoria,

Wonderful comment! I chose the Star Wars music because the words look like the words at the beginning of every Star Wars movie. It took me about two days to build the tower. I got a little help from my mom.

Thank you for looking at my posts.

      Sincerely,

      Royce

    2. Dear Papa,

I want to be a roller coaster designer when I grow up. I will still create things but they will be much bigger! They will be roller coasters!

    3. Dear Leila,

I took a lot of pictures of the tower of chaos before I had to ship it (I celebrate Christmas in NY). I decided to make a blog post about it.

What did your fuzzy pajamas have on them? Why didn't the marble tower work?

      Sincerely,
      R♕yce

  3. Dear Royce,

I think it is a great idea to do a post on the tower of chaos!

My favorite Christmas presents was my easel, my fuzzy pajamas, and my lovely movies.

I have used a marble to make a tower once but the marble didn't work.

    Sincerely,
    Leila♥

    1. @Leila,

Your favorite Christmas presents sound so amazing. My favorite Christmas presents are easy bake oven, 2 Katie Kazoo books, and a huge eraser.

I have never made a tower and I've never seen a tower either.

      See you tomorrow at school.

      Your Friend,

  4. Dear Royce,
It seems like yesterday when we were watching you build your Chaos Tower in our living room. It was amazing when we saw it work live the first time and it was amazing watching it work again on your video. We are glad that you enjoyed building such a complicated project and had the patience and dedication to complete it.

Grandma's favorite Christmas present was her new iPhone. She is still learning all the new features.

Was it harder to build your Chaos Tower or your LEGO Millenium Falcon?

    Love,
    Grandma and Grandpa

    1. Dear Nana,

You just inspired me with a great idea! I did not build the tower yet so maybe you could build it with me! Does that sound good?

I was hoping that a lot of people would like the video at the end of the post!

      Sincerely,
      Royce

    2. Dear Grandma and Grandpa,

      I loved your comment!

The chaos tower amazed me when I saw it work for the first time. I have not built it yet, but I will very soon.

I love my dad's iphone and my mom's iphone too. I also love the ipad. Finally, I love your iphone!

      Who bought it?

It was harder to build the chaos tower because I have been building legos for a long time. The chaos tower was really hard! I needed a lot of help.

      Sincerely,
      R☉yce

  5. Dear Royce-
I can't wait to see the Chaos Tower in person! I will be coming to visit in about 3 weeks. You know how I love to watch marbles roll and cause different pieces to move in sequence. It's so much fun and so cool.
The video was so dramatic and I especially like the Star
Wars music and the way things moved toward and away from the screen. The visual effects were unbelievable! You and your Dad
must have had such a good time putting the video together. You are so lucky to have a Mom that can help you build such a complicated structure and a Dad that can help with the video! Love, Nana

  6. Dear Royce,

I have seen a marble run down a track for a school project but yours was way more complicated. I like the Star Wars music. My Mom and and your Mom went to college together in case you're wondering who I am.

    1. Dear Jack,

      Thanks for the comment.

I know who you are because I sent the Flat Stanley to you. Did you get it?

I have seen other marble works before, but none of them were for a school project. Was that project fun?

      Sincerely,
      Royce

I love the chaos tower too. I have seen other marble works in window displays and places like that, but the chaos tower is way more amazing those!

I got idea of the music from the Star Wars lettering.
